LED Scrolling Banner
Type a message and giant LED dot-matrix letters scroll across the screen. Go full screen and hold up your phone as a cheer sign or a pickup board. Emoji and non-Latin text work as-is, and everything runs on your device — what you type never leaves the browser.

In a dark room, bright letters on black stand out the most.
"Coarse" blurs complex characters, so keep "Normal" or finer for Japanese, Chinese and Korean text.
"Enter it myself" only reads the ratio between width and height (9 and 16 give the same result as 1080 and 1920). Values run from 1 to 9999, and a ratio more lopsided than 4:1 is capped at 4:1. If the ratio differs from your display in full screen, the banner is fitted so nothing is cut off and the leftover area keeps the background color. Exports use a 2160px long side for PNG and 480px for GIF (size and speed).

How to use the LED banner
The preview starts scrolling as soon as you type. Pick a color, a speed and a motion, then press "⛶ Show full screen" — the controls disappear and only the banner is left, ready to hold up. Rasterizing the text and animating it happen in your browser, so the message is never uploaded.
- Type the message: shorter reads better, around 20 characters per line. Press Enter for a second line, which puts the spare height to use when a phone is held upright. For long text, watch the "One loop ≈ Ns" estimate under the input so a single pass doesn't take forever.
- Tune how it looks: bright letters on black for a dark venue, dark letters on white for a bright room. Speed and dot detail each have three steps. Motion is either "Scroll" or "Stop", and flashing is a separate option with its own interval.
- Go full screen and hold it up: tapping the screen brings up speed, rotate and exit for a few seconds. Leave with "✕" or the Esc key. With a single line the dots are sized so the letters stay large even in portrait.
Example: cheering at a concert
Type GO TEAM 💖, set the text color to orange, the background to black and the speed to "Normal". Tick "Rotate 90° to use the long edge" and press "⛶ Show full screen": now you can hold the phone upright while the banner runs along its long side. Emoji keep their own colors, so the 💖 glows pink while the letters stay orange. Show it between songs and put it away otherwise so you don't block the view behind you.

Power tips
- Save a GIF to send: while the banner scrolls or flashes, "Save as GIF" exports it as a moving image (480px long side, one loop packed into at most 60 frames). That is the easy way to hand it around in chat or on social media. With long text the GIF scrolls faster than the screen does.
- Stopped banners export as PNG: switch Motion to "Stop" with flashing off and the button becomes "Save as PNG". Nothing moves, so a GIF would be pointless — you get one image in the chosen ratio with a 2160px long side, ready to scale down later with an image resizer.
- Using two lines: splitting a name and a message ("ANNA" / "OVER HERE") reads better than one long line. Both lines scroll in step with the longer one, so similar line lengths look tidiest.
- Dot detail: keep 16 dots or more for Japanese, Chinese and Korean. Latin letters and digits stay readable at "Coarse", which looks chunkier and bolder.
- Emoji shapes: emoji are drawn with your operating system's font, so the same emoji can look different on another device.
- Message and settings are saved: the message and the look (colors, speed, ratio, save size and so on) are stored in this browser, so closing the page and coming back picks up where you left off. Nothing is uploaded. To clear it, delete this site's data in your browser settings.
- Ratio: the default is "match this screen", so the banner uses the proportions of whatever you are looking at. Switch to phone portrait (9:16), phone landscape (16:9) or your own numbers — a custom ratio only cares about the proportion, so 9 and 16 behave like 1080 and 1920. Pick 9:16 on a desktop when you want to preview how a phone will look. The ratio is reused for the GIF and PNG exports.
