Frequently Asked Questions
Is my input sent to a server?
No. All conversion happens entirely in your browser. Nothing you type is ever transmitted or stored externally, so it is safe to use with sensitive or confidential text.
Why do some characters show as boxes or blanks when I paste them into social media?
These fancy characters use special Unicode symbol ranges, so they need a font that supports them to display correctly. If your device, app, or social network's font does not include those symbols, they may appear as empty boxes (tofu) or blanks. Try a different style, or check how it looks on another device or app.
Are Japanese characters, emoji, and symbols left untouched?
Yes. Conversion only targets the Latin letters (A-Z / a-z) and digits (0-9). Spaces, punctuation, emoji, and non-Latin scripts pass through unchanged, so in mixed text only the letters and numbers are styled.
