Test Data Generator (Cards & Dummy PII)

Use representative sandbox card numbers published for payment-service testing, plus fictional names, emails and addresses as JSON or CSV. Use card numbers only with the matching provider's test environment.

Mode
⚠ Test environments only: These are representative sandbox numbers published by payment services. Support varies by provider. Never enter them in a live environment.

How to use

In "Test card numbers" mode, pick a brand to show a representative number published for payment-service sandbox testing. Use it only in the matching provider's test mode or sandbox, never in a live environment. In "Dummy personal data" mode, the tool generates fictional names, emails restricted to example.com / example.org, phone numbers in the fictional 555-01xx range, ages, addresses and company names as JSON or CSV. The Japanese edition generates Japanese-style data; this edition uses English-style data with the same features.

Examples

  • Visa → show the representative success-test number 4242 4242 4242 4242
  • American Express → show a published 15-digit sandbox number
  • Dummy personal data, JSON x 3 → an array of records with name / email / phone / age / city / company
  • CSV → a header row plus data rows, ready to paste into a spreadsheet

FAQ

Is my data sent to a server?
No. Everything is generated in your browser; nothing is transmitted or stored externally.
Where can I use the card numbers?
These are representative numbers published for payment-service testing. Use them only in a matching provider's sandbox or test mode, never in a live environment.
What is the Luhn check?
A checksum that uses the last digit of a card number to catch typos. The listed sandbox numbers also satisfy the Luhn check.
Are the dummy emails and names real?
Names, addresses and companies are assembled from fixed fictional lists. Email domains are limited to example.com and example.org, which are reserved for documentation. Any match with a real person is coincidental.
