Screenshot Beautifier

Add a gradient background, padding, rounded corners, a shadow and a Mac-style window frame to a screenshot and export a PNG that pops on social and OGP. Images are processed entirely in your browser and never uploaded.

Drag and drop an image, or click to choose

PNG, JPEG, WebP and more. Images are processed on your device and never leave it.

How to use the screenshot beautifier

Load a screenshot, pick a background, padding, corner radius and shadow, and the beautified preview updates on the spot. When it looks right, save it as a PNG. Loading and compositing happen entirely in your browser.

  • Load an image: drag and drop it onto the box, or click to choose. New here? Hit "🖼️ Try a sample image" to see it instantly.
  • Pick a background: choose a gradient preset, a solid color (color picker) or transparent. Gradients let you set the direction too.
  • Tune padding, corner radius and shadow: move the sliders and the preview updates live. You can also add a Mac-style window frame with three dots.
  • Choose the output size: besides Auto (source + padding), pick OGP (1200×630) or Square (1080×1080) and the image is centered inside the frame with the surrounding area filled by the background.
  • Download: press "Download PNG" to save.

Handy for

  • Cleaning up a screenshot for X (Twitter) or a blog with tidy padding and a soft shadow
  • Whipping up a cover or Open Graph image (1200×630) from a raw screenshot
  • Making a UI screenshot float on a slide deck or landing page
  • Exporting a transparent PNG with just rounded corners and a shadow to layer over another background

The output is a PNG. Auto adds padding around the source image; presets fit the image inside the chosen frame and center it. The background and shadow colors are fixed as part of the generated artwork.

FAQ

Are my images sent to a server?
No. Loading and compositing happen entirely in your browser; your images are never uploaded or stored. It even works offline.
Which image formats and use cases are supported?
You can load any image your browser can display, such as PNG, JPEG or WebP. The output is a PNG, ideal for social posts, blog cover images, Open Graph (OGP) images and slides — anywhere you want a screenshot to look polished.
Can I make a transparent PNG with no background?
Yes. Switch the background to "Transparent" and it exports without painting a background, so you get a transparent PNG with just the rounded corners and shadow (the soft edge of the shadow remains in the transparent area when the shadow is on).
