How to join images
- Select images or drop them in the box. Additional selections append to the list.
- Use Earlier and Later to change the order, or remove individual images. A single image also works.
- Choose vertical or horizontal. The default is vertical with original sizes. Vertical images align left; horizontal images align top.
- Optionally set a uniform width for vertical joins or height for horizontal joins (default 1000px). Images scale up or down while preserving their aspect ratio.
- Set the gap and background, check the preview, and save as PNG or JPEG.
The preview is scaled for display; downloads use the displayed output dimensions. Output is limited to 16384px per side and 16 million pixels. Oversized results cannot be saved. Devices may run out of memory below these limits; reduce the image count or uniform size if needed.
Frequently asked questions
Are images sent to a server?
No. Loading, joining and generating the downloadable image all happen in your browser.
What happens to transparency and unused space?
Both PNG and JPEG fill transparent and unused areas with the selected background color (white by default). Transparency is not retained. Gaps appear only between images, with no added outer padding.
Can I join animated images?
This tool is for still PNG, JPEG and WebP images. Animation is not preserved. GIF, SVG and other formats are not supported.
