Running Pace Calculator
Get pace (min/km) and speed from distance and time, plus projected finish times for 5K, 10K, half and full marathon at the same pace. Everything stays in your browser.

How to Use the Running Pace Calculator
Enter distance (km) and time (minutes), or pick an example. Pace (min/km) and speed (km/h) update instantly, and below them you get projected finish times for 5K, 10K, half and full at the same pace. Enter long times in minutes (e.g. 1h50m = 110).
Examples
- 10km in 50min โ 5:00/km ยท 12.00 km/h
- 5km in 25min โ 5:00/km ยท 12.00 km/h
- Half in 1h50m (110min) โ about 5:13/km
- Full in 4h (240min) โ about 5:41/km (the sub-4 pace)
- At 5:00/km the table shows 5K=25:00, 10K=50:00, Half=1:45:29, Full=3:30:59 at once
When It Helps
- Checking the pace needed for a 5K, 10K, half marathon or marathon goal.
- Converting a training run into min/km pace and km/h speed.
- Estimating finish times if you hold the same average pace for a longer race.
What the Projected Times Mean
The projection table simply applies the entered average pace to each listed distance. It does not model fatigue, elevation, surface, weather, aid stations, congestion, traffic lights, or GPS error, and it is not a physiological race-prediction model. A pace sustained for 5 km is not automatically sustainable for a marathon.
Compare sessions using the same elapsed-time or moving-time convention and adjust goals from repeated training results and current health. Use Speed, Distance & Time for general motion calculations.
